VP, Client Growth (Manager)
The Role
Cedar is improving the healthcare financial experience. Our technology improves the overall experience of patient billing and engagement, enabling providers to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while helping patients understand the cost of their care.
As a VP, Client Growth, you will be responsible for the functional management of VPs and Directors on the Client Growth team. Key areas of focus will be talent development, serving as an escalation point for clients and Cedar employees alike, driving team-wide initiatives that focus on client retention and growth, helping to build and improve processes to scale the team and collaborating with internal stakeholders from different departments to complete client strategies. This role reports to the Head of Client Growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage a subteam of Client Growth consisting of VPs and Directors
- Build strategic relationships with existing clients at the executive level
- Serve as a thought partner on client strategy, meeting preparation and helping to drive forward expansion opportunities
- Serve as an escalation point externally and internally for client needs
- Coordinate between Client Growth and Partnerships on reference requests
- Collaborate with a variety of departments at Cedar (Implementations, Product, Data Science, and Commercial Strategy) to drive forward cross-functional, client-focused projects
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, sales, business development and/or consulting - minimum 3 years of experience managing a client-facing team
- Proven track record of building C-level and above relationships with health systems partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and strong curiosity about the healthcare tech industry
- Ability to speak to technical and operational aspects of the product
- Demonstrates a self-starter mentality
- Experience working with several internal partners across departments such as product, engineering, and marketing
