Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud and hybrid environments 

• Lead security architecture reviews for major initiatives 

• Improve secure design patterns across infrastructure and applications 

• Build and tune SIEM detections and threat monitoring capabilities 

• Lead complex investigations and support incident response 

• Strengthen threat detection and automation workflows 

• Implement and optimize security controls in Azure and/or AWS 

• Partner with infrastructure and DevOps teams to embed security in cloud and CI/CD environments 

• Improve identity, endpoint, and network security posture 

• Develop scripts and integrations (Python, PowerShell, APIs) 

• Drive security automation to reduce manual effort and improve response time 

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance 

• Contribute to security standards and roadmap initiatives 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity engineering or security architecture 

• Strong hands-on experience implementing enterprise security controls 

• Cloud security experience (Azure and/or AWS) 

• Experience with SIEM, detection engineering, and incident response 

• Scripting and automation skills 

• Understanding of modern security frameworks (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust) 

• Network, endpoint, and identity security knowledge 

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability 

• Clear communication and collaborative mindset

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $139,000 - $163,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
