What are we looking for?

You are a highly motivated and analytical individual who loves leading with data and insights. You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where you can leverage your strong communication skills to effectively drive alignment across product leadership and support the key initiatives and questions from the team. We are looking for a collaborative partner that is interested in helping support business cases, critical projects and be proactive on their findings.

You are a strategic thinker who can anticipate future business needs and proactively scope solutions with a natural curiosity to explore complex problems.

What will you do?
  • Lead high-impact analytics initiatives with internal teams to inform data-driven initiatives.
  • Execute in-depth analysis of user behavior to identify growth opportunities and inform product optimization strategies.
  • Influence direction through actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track and communicate critical key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection and instrumentation, providing guidance on tracking implementation and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering and data science teams to refine and enhance data infrastructure and architecture to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Become an expert on BetterHelp data, product experience, and regulatory requirements
  • Build a unified understanding of how our data, customer experiences, and goals align
What will you NOT do?
  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.
Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in data or product analytics as an Analyst, preferably in a high-velocity consumer facing product
  • Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

  • A track record of delivering impactful insights and driving growth.
  • Expert experience with funnel analysis, cohort & segmentation analysis, and other analytics techniques.
  • Strong data communication skills, including visualization, technical writing, and business writing.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder influence, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is a plus.
