Data Annotator – Bounding Box (Contract/Freelance)
About the Role
Aurelius Systems is looking for 2–3 detail-oriented contractors to join our data annotation team. In this role, you'll be drawing and labeling bounding boxes on image datasets used to train machine learning models. This is a remote, flexible, pay-per-annotation contract position.
Responsibilities

  • Accurately draw bounding boxes around specified objects in images according to provided guidelines

  • Maintain consistent labeling quality across large batches

  • Meet minimum output requirements in a fast and timely manner

  • Communicate any data quality issues or ambiguities to the team lead

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to follow precise labeling instructions

  • Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of running annotation tools

  • Ability to complete a minimum of 500 annotations per engagement

Previous annotation experience is a plus but not required
Compensation & Volume

  • Rate: $0.05 per bounding box annotation.

  • Volume: Batches are assigned as needed, with a minimum annotations per assignment.

  • Contract Type: 1099 contract position.
