About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Associate to join the Data Operations team, focusing on data strategy, and playing a key role in helping to automate and optimize our internal data processes. This role will work closely with our Product team to help lead an effort to deploy tools and technology to validate and quality control our platform data domains while approaching core data operational challenges with a 2-fold approach; help build operational processes to stop the negative impact of data quality and strategically define repeatable processes around data on a go-forward basis.
Responsibilities
- Validate data inputs into our platform tools and calculators to ensure accuracy of our output data.
- Build and deploy QC processes around the critical platform data domains to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Build and deploy operational processes to stop the negative impact of data quality as well as strategically define repeatable processes around data on a go-forward basis using technology and tools.
- Build and deploy reporting through Tableau to highlight relevant KPI’s and metrics for internal and external distribution and review.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its impact on business processes.
- Collaborate with other Data Operations team members across the organization to drive tactical and strategic initiatives related to data, technology, and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in computer science, business administration, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of data experience within financial services, alternatives data is a plus
- Able to think outside the box and challenge the status quo to drive change
- Experience with SQL or any other database language
- Able to work with internal and external stakeholders to drive and deploy automation and new functionality
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and relationship management skills
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
