Advance Local is looking for a Data Solutions Marketing Strategist to join our fast-growing Data team.   In this role, you’ll develop and execute marketing initiatives that position our data products and analytics solutions effectively in the marketplace. With a strong understanding of brand positioning and content creation, this position collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and support sales efforts.

 

Compensation for this position is comprised of a base salary plus incentive compensation.  The base salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 per year.  Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $90,000 - $102,000.

 

This is a fully remote position.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for data products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Manage brand positioning within the data and analytics space to strengthen market presence and differentiation.
  • Create compelling content to showcase platform capabilities, insights, and value propositions across multiple channels.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, emails, and paid channels, ensuring alignment with product positioning and business objectives.
  • Manage marketing operations – including content calendar planning, CRM maintenance, and lead handoff processes – to ensure seamless campaign execution and strong alignment between Marketing and Sales.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Audience Strategy teams to craft messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Support the sales team by developing marketing collateral, pitch decks, and other resources to drive client engagement and conversions.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to identify emerging trends, benchmark performance, and inform strategic positioning.
  • Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards to track KPIs, optimize campaigns, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align marketing strategies with product launches and revenue goals.

 Our ideal candidate will have the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in marketing strategy, preferably in technology, data, or analytics sectors
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in content creation and digital marketing tools
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience working with data-driven products or SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
