As a Data Engineer you will be a part of our awesome Data Platform Team which is leading the architectural design decisions and implementation of a modern data infrastructure at scale. You will be part of the process building scalable data pipelines which can support large scale data processing. Also, you will collaborate with the team to support overall data quality in our data lake. You will have an opportunity to take your data engineering skills to the next level.

Currently, some tools our team uses are Python, Scala, Hadoop, Airflow, Yarn, Pandas, Spark, AWS EMR/EC2/Lambda/kinesis/S3/Glue, ElasticSearch, Hive, Redshift, and Terraform.

What you'll do:

• Drive data solutions and features that will impact business decisions and our product road map
• Drive testing methodology to improve data quality and consistency
• Leverage best practices in continuous integration and deployment to our cloud-based infrastructure
• Design, develop, and deploy a scalable, distributed data platform

Who we’re looking for:

• 1+ years of professional experience working in a product-driven environment in data engineering
• BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Familiarity with distributed data processing framework
• Drive testing methodology to improve data quality and consistency
• Sound understanding of SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD
• Familiarity with ETL and data ingestion
• Experience with one of the following languages - Scala, Python, Java

Gold stars:

• Experience working with Apache Airflow
• Experience working with Apache Spark
• Experience working with Terraform
