IEX Group, Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Developer in New York, NY. Job duties include: Maintain and refine IEX’s back-end data infrastructure. Design data ingestion processes to facilitate collection and storage of large volumes of data emitted by trading and market systems. Process raw financial and economic data for delivery to analysts and other end-users and decision-making systems. Develop analytical tools and models for front-end analysts to increase efficiency and improve quality of reporting. Partner with business teams to understand data needs and develop overall data strategy.

 Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field and at least two years of professional experience working in data analysis within the finance industry. Must have at least two years of experience performing front-end data analysis on pre-processed datasets. Must have at least two years of experience interpreting and evaluating data and deploying data models. Must have at least two years of experience creating business intelligence deliverables and preparing user-friendly reports for internal decision-makers and clients. Must be proficient in KDB+/Q, Python, Linux, and Plotly.
