Title:
Executive Director - Data Product Platform
Short Description:
The CCB Data Consumption Team is focused on enabling and continuously improving the experience of the users of Chase data. We are building a line of products to address the entire analyst journey, driving real value by accelerating speed to market for data insights and advanced models. With data increasingly taking center stage in all aspects of Chase business functions, this role is a unique opportunity to have meaningful impact on a large scale at a leading financial services firm.

JPMC is looking for a leader to transform the way our organization delivers data to our analyst users. As we build data products, we need an experienced and passionate product manager to build the platform that manages the creation and distribution of our data products across a large ecosystem of thousands of analysts driving billions of dollars in value.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and execute on a product vision and strategy to deliver a data product platform vision supporting a global set of analytics professionals and businesses firmwide
  • Lead a diverse agile product organization and budget, making sound investment and prioritation decisions
  • Relentlessly focus on ways to increase speed to market for our analyst teams and stakeholders
  • Continue to support the transformation of the organization into an Agile-driven product-based model
  • Coordinate with the Public Cloud teams to ensure that shifts in our platforms align to the overall consumption strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in technology and other critical functions to develop a holistic view of performance and growth opportunities
  • Present findings and recommendations for action to senior leaders of the company, and support the contributors to do the same for their work


Required Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate combines outstanding business acumen and communication skills, particularly when articulating technical matters to a broader audience
  • Strong business intuition and the technical ability to understand, design, and explain complex product and data strategies to both a business audience and a data science / analyst user base
  • 10+ years' experience in product management, data management or related consulting with a proven record of high performance
  • Experience building and managing data platforms, especially with a customer-oriented mentality
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cloud computing technologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of data science tools and concepts, along with experience directly enabling data science teams or delivering data science use cases
  • Exceptional problem solving, and analysis skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to all levels throughout the organization
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with a keen ability to influence senior leadership
  • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative and integrity.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Familiarity with Open Data, Linked Data or the Semantic Web is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile and product concepts, especially with regard to transformation
  • A background in Library Science is a plus
