About the Role:
We are looking for a truly exceptional Data Analyst to join the team at Trumid. You will work directly with all aspects of our business including Sales, Operations, Product and Engineering to deliver data driven insights. You will be responsible for conducting exploratory data analysis, creating metrics, and defining which data to capture to make better strategic decisions. As such, you will be involved in some of the most transformative parts of the business and will be a close partner with our business leaders. You should have great communication skills and the ability to develop insightful reports, visualizations and statistical analysis to explain your conclusions to business stakeholders. What You'll Do:
- Partner with departments to help them develop reports, dashboards, metrics, and statistical analyses to make data-driven business decisions
- Define new data pipelines and collection systems that will provide business users with a deeper understanding of their decisions
- Provide advice and best practices to business users on the usage and interpretation of data
- Effectively communicate your insights and analysis to management and business users
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of experience working as an analyst and/or data analyst in a product, marketing, or financial organization
- Degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, math, engineering, or economics (advanced degrees a plus but not required)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in an ever changing and fast paced environment
- Familiarity with or interest in financial markets (Experience with corporate bonds is a plus, but not necessary. We’ll teach you.)
- Strong background in statistics and computer science tools
- SQL skills and the ability to use tools such as Python, R, or Tableau to work efficiently with messy and growing data
- Advanced knowledge of experimentation and statistical methods
- Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner
- Superb communication and organization skills
