Cadre is looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys data challenges both big and small. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure that powers insights across all facets of our business. We are looking for a Data Engineer that is passionate and motivated to create a robust platform that will scale as we grow our investor base and the number and types of assets we manage.

What You'll Do

• Partner with engineers, product managers, and analysts to deliver insights to the business
• Design, build and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines into production
• Design and implement warehousing solutions to scale with the needs of the business
• Develop new systems and tools to enable the team to consume and understand data more intuitively

Your Expertise

• 3+ years of Data modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
• Strong software engineering skills in any server-side language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL
• Experience with mpp databases (Redshift, Vertica, etc) or similar technologies (Presto, Spark, etc) is a plus
• Great communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data-driven insights
• Self-starter, thriving in a startup environment

Our Tech Stack

Cadre runs a robust stack (React + Redux, Django + Django REST framework, PostgreSQL), continuously integrated with zero-downtime deployments (Ansible, Packer) on AWS.

The majority of our time is spent in that environment, but our goal is to always utilize the best tool for the job: you’ll be working with members of our team to keep refining our toolset.
