Overview:

You will work with one of the world's largest conversational datasets to push the boundaries of computational linguistics and lead new new products. In addition to a world-class data set, you'll also have an at-scale population of expert data annotators (contact center agents) to help improve investigation and learning. You will report to the Manager, Data Science.

You will:

  • Apply machine learning approaches to conversational decision-making and dialogue management in both a commercial and research setting
  • Use your experience of methods and tools to find the most efficient, stable, explainable, and elegant approaches
  • Develop modern, flexible machine learning training pipelines
  • Analyze large-scale conversational datasets
  • Bring research-driven models to life within production systems
  • Create durable, flexible scientific deployment and experimentation capabilities
  • Work on challenging unsupervised and semi-supervised problems related to dialog management, and create pipelines to accelerate and scale this effort
  • Use and present research findings in ways that inform and sometimes guide business and product strategy
  • Lead publication efforts in top dialogue conferences such as ACL, SIGdial, Neurips, Interspeech

You have:

  • Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
  • Publication history in AI/ML/NLP conference with a focus on dialogue management research or 3+ years of experience in the commercial space working on production dialogue management systems.
  • 3+ years experience with Deep Learning for dialogue management
  • 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning fundamentals
  • Programming experience in Python
