Meeting your future team:

Collibra is seeking a Director to lead our cross-functional Competitive Intelligence (CI) initiatives. You will oversee orchestrating all CI initiatives in close collaboration with multiple teams at Collibra. From gathering and analyzing data, proactively researching specific competitors to delivering actionable field enablement tools, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Collibra’s hyper-growth.

Directors of Competitive Intelligence at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Product Marketing team and delivering actionable and current competitive updates to the sales and pre-sales organizations
  • Leading the voice of the buyer win-loss program, conducting direct interviews and distilling reasons lost/churned insights to help improve go-to-market and product efforts
  • Translating competitive insights into actionable field enablement tools such as battlecards
  • Supporting the definition of pricing and packaging in collaboration with product and pricing teams
  • Collaborating with senior product, marketing and sales leadership in defining competitive positioning and understanding relevant technology advancements from competitors.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of technology experience in SaaS Enterprise Software, ideally within the Data Management and/or BI / Analytics spaces
  • 5+ years of experience in product, product marketing, competitive intelligence, strategy, or sales engineering roles
  • Built and implemented competitive intelligence programs and sales tools 
  • Engaged directly with enterprise customers
  • An Engineering, Computer Science degree or similar experience. Having a technical background is a must
  •  

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will learn our products, competitors and go-to-market
  • Within your third month, you will execute your competitive intelligence plans 
  • Within your sixth month, you will optimize and scale competitive intelligence
