ADP is hiring a Director of Strategy for our Global Product and Technology (GPT) Portfolio Strategy Team. The Director of Strategy will partner closely with ADP executives to assess market trends, buyer and client needs, and our product positioning to shape the product strategy across a segment of ADP's product portfolio.

Things You'll Do:

  • Help manage the annual strategic planning cycle for the Global Product & Technology organization
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and risks (including quantitative surveys, interviews, win/loss analysis, and other market research)
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Product Marketing to assess product positioning, feature / functionality, and capabilities against the market and buyer needs
  • Partner with executives to identify new product strategies and initiatives as well as continually shape existing ones based on market, buyer and client signals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • MBA Preferred
  • Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, product strategy or the following roles (HCM experience preferred): competitive / market intelligence, industry / market research, or corporate strategy at a technology company
  • Expert experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, and competitive dynamics as well as proven experience applying to product strategy and roadmap
  • Comfort with financial statement analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communications, and able to communicate well with executives
  • Ability to influence at senior levels
