Operations at BCGDV

Our Operations team is the internal force that drives our business forward. It’s where organizational insight meets operational excellence. From Human Resources and Information Technology to Marketing and Finance, they are a dedicated group of one-of-a-kind problem-solvers with a deep commitment to world-class business services.

The Global Strategy and Campaign Analyst is responsible for solving highly analytical problems, conducting interviews, evaluating data and synthesizing ideas. As part of this team you will immerse yourself in data collection, draw insights from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to DV’s Executive Team & Partnership, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation, and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

In this role you will:

  • Synthesize information and insights quickly and effectively. Be an expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Structure complex, high-priority business questions and presentations for BCGDV’s Executive Committee, with compelling, data-driven recommendations
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within leadership audiences
  • Support our leadership in priority setting and driving global alignment
  • Assess options for new market expansion
  • Monitor the performance of our organization across various OKRs
  • Analyze our venture portfolio to derive learnings informing our methodology
  • Develop best practices for pricing and go-to-market strategy

You should have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience (e.g. management consulting, technology company, or early stage/high growth start-up; potential background in BizOps, Chief of Staff role, or venture capital)
  • A bachelor’s degree (business, psychology, economics, strategy or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling), and proficient in Powerpoint, and Gsuite applications. Familiarity with Tableau and collaboration tools like Confluence

Additional desired competencies:

  • Organized, logical, and methodical in your approach to problem solving and analysis
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable presenting to senior management. Expert communicator in highly cross-functional environments
