We are looking for a visionary Lead ETL Engineer with a passion to design, create, and maintain complex data pipelines at scale. You have a drive to write clear, understandable and testable SQL statements with continuous focus on maintainability and performance. You should be able to easily assess dependencies and troubleshoot inefficiencies within a complex system and be able to recommend tangible remediation steps. You will act as a player-coach by collecting, documenting, and ultimately imparting best practices to our field teams.

You:

… have a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
… have at least 8 years of professional experience in writing and maintaining performant, complex SQL queries
… have a strong knowledge in ETL methods and working with databases
… have experience with data architecture, data modeling, schema design, and development
… have a good understanding of at least one coding language (e.g., Java, Python, Scala, etc)
… have knowledge in business intelligence, infrastructure, data engineering, data analytics, or a related subject
… have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, technical information in an understandable manner
… have the ability to logically troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and present suggested solutions clearly and concisely
… have the ability to handle competing - oftentimes sudden - priorities flexibly and address each in an effective and timely manner in a fast-paced working environment
...a natural curiosity for technical topics and willingness to self-start and self-educate
