Job Description

We are seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Engineering & Analytics to be a key leader for our Supply Chain Organization.

You will:

  • Be responsible for developing performance metrics for all aspects of the supply chain and managing related performance improvement projects within the Supply Chain function.
  • Oversee a team of Business Analysts and Data Engineers that build infrastructure (e.g. AWS) and design processes (e.g. SQL, Python) that enable MSK to advance its analytics capabilities and embrace emerging technologies (e.g. Blockchain, Machine Learning).
  • The Engineering & Analytics Manager will be charged with reviewing processes, and, identifying best practices, cost savings opportunities and performance measures.
  • The Engineering & Analytics Manager will work cooperatively and collaboratively with other Supply Chain Leaders to re-engineer, optimize, and implement new processes, develop and deliver related training, and document new policies and procedures.
  • Additionally, the Engineering & Analytics Manager will be responsible for monitoring and reporting service line performance (financial / operational / quality) against established metrics.

  • Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.
  • Able to hold yourself and others accountable in order to achieve goals and live up to commitments.
  • Someone with a proven ability to maneuver through complex policy, process and people-related organizational dynamics.

You need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or similar (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 5-7 years (8-10 years preferred) proven experience working in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Process Improvement, or similar.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Cloud computing familiarity is essential (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, and/or IBM Cloud).
  • SQL experience required (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Experience with Python and JavaScript a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodology and supporting tools (e.g. Jira) strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • CMRP (Certified Materials & Resource Professional), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certifications are a plus.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
