Principal Investigator - Dermatology (Contract)

Description
As a Principal Investigator Partner with TrialSpark, you will be at the forefront of clinical research with TrialSpark, serving as a liaison between TrialSpark, our rapidly growing network of top physicians, patients participating in research studies with us, and our industry customers. You will be personally responsible for conducting patient visits, documenting study data, providing study oversight, and helping to train a new generation of PIs.
This role will be our first Principal Investigator Partner, and will begin in a pilot capacity operating on a Dermatology research study.
Responsibilities
- Review patient profiles against protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Conduct patient visits in accordance with the protocol
- Provide regulatory oversight for the trial site where you will be conducting the research
- Discuss research outcomes and conduct study procedures alongside other physicians in the TrialSpark network
- Become a trusted advocate and expert for your studies amongst other physicians in the TrialSpark network
- Review study pipelines for business development opportunities
- Develop training materials for TrialSpark study teams
You may be a good fit if:
- You have prior research experience as a principal investigator
- You are able to identify potentially eligible participants by reviewing patient charts against the protocol, or past experience with patient recruitment for clinical trials
- You have an active medical license and dermatology board certification
- You are a great communicator and are passionate about the importance of clinical trials in advancing medicine
- You are detail-oriented and can clearly communicate the value proposition of a study to other physicians and patients, and can easily adjust communication style to the correct audience
