Job Description:
Architect of OneID Online Identity Graph - Spark is a data and technical designer and implementer responsible to maintain and enhance the next generation of data processing on the GCP dataproc Spark platform. The engineer in this role will work closely with various teams including data acquisition, data products & data sciences to support and enhance the platform exposing these services to internal customers. The role is based out of Neustar's San Diego office.
Job Duties (Summary)
Architecture for data products specifically identity graphs that involves Design, Develop and implement data pipeline using Scala programming in GCP.
Develop a technology roadmap for identity products
Play as a technical lead in directing an offshore team of Scala developers using Spark. It involves Scala code review and optimization.
Work closely with technical product managers, data scientist and other internal stakeholders and help drive an offshore engineering team

• Define and document processes that the Data Quality team will implement to ensure consistency of our build processes.
• Coordinate sprint completion/acceptance activities

Work in a high paced and rewarding environment with bleeding edge technologies and innovative concepts
Prototype and program data transformations and entity resolutions on petabyte-scale data on Spark cluster.
Qualifications/Education
8+ experience as a Software Engineer working on enterprise software preferably in digital and marketing analytics domain. Knowledge of first party and third party cookies, online identity, privacy and compliance laws
4+ years of experience in the big data, analytics and sciences domain with significant hands on experience
3+ years of experience driving and managing technical and architectural dependencies
Development experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
Adept in the use of big data, data platform and ecosystem tools and technologies.
Expertise in cloud architectures and systems such as Kubernetes, Apache Spark, and SQL Databases, etc.
Experience working with a remote team and collaborating across multiple time zones
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
Preferred:
Prior experience with Digital Identity management or AdTech
