Software Engineer, Machine Learning
Alt is a platform that makes investing in alternative assets as easy as investing in stocks. Alt is redefining alternative assets to include new asset classes that have historically been relegated to the territory of hobbyists and collectors, rather than investors. With Alt, we’re turning sports cards – and eventually watches, sneakers, and art – into investable assets.

Some professional athletes, including Kevin Durant, Larry Fitzgerald, and Tobias Harris all across different sports have also invested in Alt.
As a machine learning engineer at Alt, you will help productionize our valuation product that will allow our users to research, manage, insure, and leverage their alternative asset portfolio. We are very early in the building phase so you will be instrumental in laying the foundation at Alt and will have the opportunity to shape the product and culture from the beginning.
You will:
- Work with product, data science, and engineering teams to contribute to all phases of algorithm development including: ideation, prototyping, design, and production
- Build, iterate, productinize, and own Alt's valuation models
- Help build and define the valuation team at Alt from the ground up
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Passion for building reliable machine learning products and infrastructure
- Experience developing and pushing production code as part of an engineering team
- Experience in technologies such as AWS, Python, Airflow, and SQL
- Product-oriented mindset
