Want to help us transform the travel experience? The ideal candidate will have had experience in various modes of transportation, product receipt and reconciliation, data organization and reporting. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Logistics based in our New York City office.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate inbound product at North American 3PL’s through maintenance of item master, ASN management appointment coordination and inbound product receipt and reconciliation 

  • Create, monitor and maintain KPI reporting to monitor cost and service levels and identify areas of continuous improvement

  • Track outbound parcel SLA compliance through Away’s parcel network identifying areas for opportunity and improvement

  • Monitor parcel exceptions in coordination with our Customer Experience and parcel providers on behalf of our customers to ensure timely delivery and facilitate a positive customer experience when an exception occurs

  • Manage ad hoc transportation requests to help maintain the day-to-day operations of the Global Logistics team

  • Work with key internal and external partners to ensure we achieve the optimal balance of speed, cost, quality, service, and sustainability - all while ensuring an amazing experience for our customers. 

  • Support the transportation team with Implement of transportation strategic projects in collaboration with supply chain partners, ensuring all programs meet rigorous standards for customer experience, financial performance and operational efficiency

Who you are:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or freight operations roles

  • Have a sound understanding of over-the-road and parcel transportation principals or previous experience working in a logistics capacity

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Thrives in a very fast-paced environment that requires continual multi-tasking and prioritization

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
