We are looking for a Database Solution Architect to join our team. This role will focus on designing database solutions on Huawei Cloud, presenting them to customers, and helping them move their existing databases to the cloud. You will work closely with product teams and international customers to deliver successful cloud database migrations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers about Huawei Cloud database services.
• Assess customers' current database architecture and recommend improvements.
• Design secure and efficient cloud environments based on customer needs.
• Plan and manage the full database migration process.
• Execute testing (POC) to validate the new cloud environment with customer applications.
• Provide consulting support throughout the migration to ensure success.

Qualifications
• Expertise in at least one database: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• No travel restrictions for international customer visits
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with cloud database services is a plus
• Experience with On-Prem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud migrations is a plus
