T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Database Subject Matter Expert to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS’s reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology. 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of overall experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
  • Methodology for Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, IBM DB2, SQL, Windows, IBM z/OS mainframe, COBOL, JCL, disaster recovery strategies, and system architecture
  • 6+ years of experience in highly specialized IT disciplines
  • 6+ years of experience in database programming and/or administration
  • 4+ years of experience with IBM DB2 database management
  • 4+ years of experience using IBM z/OS mainframe operating systems
  • Strong understanding of government security requirements
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
