Job Description
The JPMorgan Equity Derivatives Sales team is seeking a talented Associate to join the Delta 1 team.
In this role, you will be a Delta 1 product specialist with a strong emphasis on custom baskets, indices, and ETF swaps. As a product specialist, you will collaborate closely with trading counterparts and partner with derivative sales, cash equities, and prime brokerage. You will coordinate among research, cash sector specialist sales, market intelligence, global positioning and trading to summarize and replicate ideas through equity baskets, while also working quantitatively and programmatically in the construction of thematic ideas to optimize risk and liquidity. You will also spend part of your time assisting with the execution and implementation of custom baskets, indices, and ETF swaps.
Client coverage will include hedge analysis, market intelligence, and market commentary, as well as overseeing the trade execution process.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide to summarize and replicate ideas through equity baskets.
- Provide comprehensive client coverage including providing clients with market intelligence and hedge analysis.
- Responsible for the trade execution process (sales trading side).
- Demonstrate proficiency in identifying market drivers and provide equity factor analysis and thematic ideas.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in stocks, equity factors, and macro.
- Thorough understanding of market drivers and the ability to explain and anticipate market movements.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients, with demonstrable proficiency in market and product lingo.
- Well-versed in the quantitative nature and framework of own product (e.g., pricing, models, client MIS, etc.).
- Strong team player who is detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to process and quality control.
- Ability to perform well under high-pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency.
- Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and self-manage priorities.
- Creative problem solver with strong qualitative and quantitative abilities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Equity research or sector specialist sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint, and Python (preferred)
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 - will be required to obtain for the role
