The Role

This is a highly commercial, analytically driven role for someone eager to make a tangible impact. As a Growth Operations Associate, your core objective is to grow the number of active users across our offerings — a clear leading indicator of client retention and account expansion — helping clients extract maximum value from AlphaSights.

You’ll do this through a blend of data analysis, process improvement, and initiative execution – identifying opportunities to activate or re-engage users, rolling out new practices with client service teams, and launching targeted user engagement programs. You’ll own growth operations for a regional business unit and work closely with its client service leadership. While your primary stakeholders sit in our Client Service organization, you are embedded in our Technology & Strategy function and collaborate extensively with product marketing, product management, and analytics.

You'll thrive here if you like owning open-ended problems end to end: figuring out the approach, rallying client service teams behind it, and proving the commercial impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Energize & Influence Senior Leaders: Build genuine credibility with VPs and senior Client Service leaders, bringing the energy and data to get busy stakeholders excited to back your initiatives and champion them with their teams. Much of your impact comes through influence, not authority.
  • Design & Execute Growth Initiatives: Develop and launch targeted engagement strategies across the user lifecycle - including prospecting, onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Improve Engagement Processes: Identify inefficiencies in existing user engagement practices and roll out best practices with the client service teams across your segment.
  • Report on Performance: Deliver clear, actionable reporting that measures initiative effectiveness, informs strategy pivots, and demonstrates ROI to your commercial stakeholders.
  • Analyze User Data: Use data to uncover growth opportunities, refine engagement strategies, and build user personas that make your outreach sharper and more effective.
  • Prospect High-Value Users: Identify and activate key users within prospective accounts, driving strong uptake of our offerings and expanding the commercial footprint.
Who You Are
  • Commercially Minded: You instinctively connect your work to the bottom line. You prioritize by business impact, are comfortable making trade-offs, and can explain why an initiative matters in revenue terms.
  • Credible with Senior Leaders: You hold your own with VPs. You build trust quickly, carry yourself with confidence in senior rooms, and respectfully offer a different point of view when the data supports it.
  • High-Achieving: You have a track record of success (academic, internship, or otherwise) and a history of driving outcomes with people you didn't manage (client-facing work, sales, negotiation, leading a team).
  • Analytical & Technical: You enjoy working with data and using it to solve complex problems.
  • Clear Communicator: You craft sharp, persuasive messages, whether you're writing user outreach or making the case to internal stakeholders.
  • Action-Oriented: You don't wait to be told what to do. You're proactive, persistent, and thrive in ambiguity.
  • Curious & Creative: You continuously seek better ways to solve problems, drive impact, and improve the user experience.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exposure to SQL is a plus, but not required - we will happily train you if you have the commercial drive and intellectual curiosity
Compensation and benefits
  • $85,000
  • 17 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) match – 4% of your total compensation matched dollar-for-dollar
  • Option to WFH Thursday & Friday
  • Prime midtown office with state-of-the-art amenities
