In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. C4ISR's Advanced Mission Systems (AMS) product line has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager to join the team. The Product Line is well positioned for growth in the coming years and is looking for a dynamic individual to join us. AMS is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to help lead a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development and operational support environment supporting the Mobility Air Forces Automated Flight Planning Services (MAFPS) program. MAFPS integrates mission, platform, navigation, airspace, weather and other aeronautical data from authoritative sources to generate and visualize 4-D optimized flight plans that adhere to complex global airspace business rules to support the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command's (AMC) daily worldwide airspace operations.
This position will be hybrid, located in Fairview Heights, IL.

Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The Role: In this role, you will:
- Perform tasks across the Project Management processes of initiating, organizing, integrating, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects or programs.
- Be accountable to the business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall program success.
- Track progress and ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical and/or new business performance objectives.
- Manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute a projects or collection of projects.
- Support new business development activities and participate in developing strategic and financial plans for assigned business area.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth.
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.
- Lead briefings and high-level meetings.
- Interact frequently with senior-level executives and customers concerning projects, operational decisions, contracts, and strategies.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition contracting approaches and practices.
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule.
- You love finding new and creative ways to solve problems.
- You're always anticipating your customer's needs and working to exceed their expectations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 8-10+ years of related experience.
- Excellent program/project management skills with a high level of business and financial acumen and proven ability to manage scope and budget.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with customers, partners, and team members.
- Provide leadership and program management oversight of a project team assuring the project meets financial, schedule, and technical objectives, and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop program/project plans to specify goals, staffing needs, schedule milestones, risks and contingency plans.
- Communicate with all levels of senior management regarding program performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition contracting approaches and practices.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to maintain a DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance.
- Familiarity with AMC and/or USTRANSCOM; familiarity with 618 AOC operations.
- Demonstrated success in a program management role.
- PMP or other related certifications.
- Defense industry experience; familiarity with the FAR.
Pay Information
