Primary Purpose: Design Assistant, Print will work with the Senior Print Designer to help initiate concepts and create artwork for special projects, accessories, collaborations and in-store collateral across all design categories. You will be a part of a dynamic, creative environment where you will collaborate with talented designers and cross-functional partners in the business.
The position reports to Senior Designer, Special Projects Print.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Design to...
  • Create prints and graphics through inspiring and highly creative research and ideas
  • Ensure consistent alignment with design and brand vision
  • Create CADs of prints for in-house presentations
  • Create artwork appropriately for the product, color separate and prepare in the correct format depending on factory requirements
  • Create digital and physical presentation boards for meetings and ensure work is kept up to date
  • Work proactively according to development calendar to stay ahead of timelines
  • Partner with cross-functional departments within design, product development, materials, merchandising, and legal teams
  • Remain agile and adaptable, and available to support the wider Print Team when needed

The accomplished individual will possess...
  • 1+ years of textile design work experience, in accessories &/or apparel market
  • Degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Excellent hand sketching/painting and CAD skills
  • Highly-developed taste level and excellent color sense
  • Must be highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and relevant Adobe programs
  • Good familiarity with trends, fashion and art history
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for the Coach brand

Work Setup: Hybrid
BASE PAY RANGE $65,000.00 TO $70,000.00 Annually
