How You'll Make An Impact

As a Design Intern, you will collaborate across teams to support a wide range of design initiatives. From creating podcast visuals and social content to exploring UI/UX opportunities and helping the Sales team communicate compelling client narratives, you’ll support the design and execution of campaigns across social media, newsletters, blog posts, and other key brand touchpoints. Working directly with our Head of Design, VP of Marketing, and Content Lead, you’ll gain hands-on experience bringing strategic storytelling to life, particularly at the intersection of technology and financial trends.

What You'll Do

  • Compose engaging digital assets for all social channels, according to our style guides, with the Head of Design.
  • Assist with design needs for weekly newsletter, blog posts, various site downloads, and design support as needed.
  • Assist with social planning and posting with the Content Lead.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and understand the competitive tech/financial services marketplace.
  • Assist the Content Lead in the archival and organization of historical content, including white papers, case studies, and tip sheets.

What You'll Need

  • Current enrollment in a relevant degree program, preferably in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices (LinkedIn & Instagram).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of photo and video editing tools for quick formatting (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hubspot, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Please be sure to send us a portfolio link to your previous work.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design with a dynamic and innovative team. If you are looking to build your skills and grow your career, we would love to hear from you!

Differently together is what drives our passion for meaningful creative storytelling.

At Magnet, you’ll find talents from around the world with a variety of experiences bonding over coffee, video games, books, pets, sports, interior design, music, the latest meme or streaming series... and many more!
