This isn’t an internship to organize files or provide admin support.  Your work will provide a meaningful contribution to Brilliant as an agency and to its clients.  You will receive true agency experience with opportunities to collaborate with different departments and exposure to agency life should that be a long-term career path you want to explore.    With that, it is critical that interns can meet deadlines, respond to messages in a timely manner, and be proactive in communicating with their team.

Potential Responsibilities Include:

Presentation & Slide Design:

  • Build and update presentations using Brilliant templates in Canva

Creative Collaboration:

  • Work with account teams to bring ideas to life visually
  • Share  ideas for improving templates and design systems

Internship Structure:

  • Summer/Fall Session (2026): starting June 1 (or sooner) and ending December 18

While these are our preferred timelines, we are still flexible with potential start and end dates based on candidate availability.

Requirements for a successful candidate include:

  • You must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior.
  • Experience using Canva (required)
  • Intermediate understanding of presentation design and layout
  • Ability to work from a template and also improve upon it
  • Portfolio or sample work (presentations or graphics)
  • Ability to commit to at least 15 hours a week during office hours, 8–5 in your time zone
  • Professional demeanor and a drive to succeed
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to ask questions
  • Resourceful attitude and keen attention to detail

***Prior to applying for this position, please contact your College or University Career Center and verify that you are eligible to receive College Credits for an Internship although accepting credit hours is not necessary to accept an offer. If selected, Brilliant will reimburse you $250 each month for using your personal cell phone, computer, and home internet.***
