About Our Internship Program:
Our Summer 2026 internship cycle takes place between June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026.
This is a paid, hybrid educational internship. Our internship program runs for 12 weeks and provides our interns a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly to a supervisor, explore your career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors.
Summary of Position:
As a Design Studio Intern at NVE, you will gain hands-on experience working across both graphic and experiential design—helping bring brand experiences to life from concept through execution.
This is not a passive internship. You’ll contribute to real client work, collaborate with a multidisciplinary creative team, and participate in the same studio rituals that shape our ideas and output.
It’s an opportunity to develop your craft, sharpen your point of view, and experience what it’s like to work inside a fast-paced, culture-driven creative agency.
What You’ll Work On:
- Support the creation of visual assets across a range of brand experiences and campaigns (2D + 3D)
- Assist in developing layouts, mockups, mood boards, and presentation materials
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions
- Help prepare design files for production and ensure accuracy and quality
- Conduct research on visual trends, materials, cultural insights, and emerging tools (including AI) to inform creative work
- Collaborate with designers, creatives, and cross-functional partners to bring ideas to life
- Participate in internal reviews, critiques, and studio working sessions
- Support the team across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Support an onsite load-in

Who You Are:
- You are currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in design, or a related creative field
- You have a portfolio that shows your creative thinking and design potential (school or personal work is welcome)
- You are curious, proactive, and excited to learn by doing
- You have a strong foundation in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with 3D tools is a plus)
- You have an interest in exploring emerging creative tools and technologies, including AI
- You are open to feedback and eager to grow your skills
- You bring a point of view—but also a collaborative mindset

Program Structure:
This is a paid internship program designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience within the Design Studio.
Interns will:
- Be paired with a dedicated mentor/supervisor
- Participate in Design Studio critiques and team rituals
- Gain exposure to real client projects and internal creative processes
- Receive ongoing feedback and guidance throughout the program
- Have the opportunity to support at least one on-site installation or live experience, gaining firsthand exposure to how ideas come to life in the real world
At the conclusion of the program, interns may have the opportunity to participate in an Intern Studio Share-Out, presenting a brief reflection on their experience, including work they contributed to, key learnings, and their creative perspective.
Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in Los Angeles or New York City.

Hourly Estimation:
This is an non-exempt role. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. The estimated hourly range for this role is between $17.00 - $22.00/hr. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
NVE reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. NVE may require an employee to perform duties outside his/her normal description.
Employment eligibility verification is required for this role. In certain states, NVE participates in the E-Verify program in accordance with local regulations.
