As Head of Product Design at Slice, you’ll be responsible for providing magical experience to our customers. You will be the guardian of overall user experience and the look and feel of mission-critical product features across consumers and pizzerias. The ideal candidate has an obsession with simplifying complexity and delivering a delightful experience to users. You will report to the Chief Product Officer.

What you'll do:

• Lead product design across App and Web for consumers and pizzerias to define and deliver market winning products 
• Deliver a winning consumer pizza app that millions of consumers use & love that pizzerias in-turn want to be a part of 
• Help craft and evolve the product design for the consumer/restaurant teams--always with the user in mind 
• Establish the look and feel for various interfaces of the mobile app and focus on driving product growth metrics 
• Collaborate with Product directors, developers, marketers, and customer support throughout the product process, including discovery, testing and scoping to drive successful launches and iterations
• Through both qualitative and quantitative analysis, keep the organization navigating by a North Star and driving business outcomes. Champion the overall development and launch of new experiences that delight our users
• Actively build and mentor a team of UX and UI designers with varying skill and experience levels
• Promote design thinking throughout the organization and help product accelerate design sprints and prototyping

What we're looking for:

• Strong design portfolio attached is essential 
• At least 8+ years of UI/UX experience and mobile app design used by a large consumer base is required
• A rich design portfolio that demonstrates love and care for the craft 
• At least 3-5 years of managing and mentoring Sr. UX Designers at the director or head of level
• High proficiency in popular design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision Studio, Figma, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Ability to apply design principles across web, mobile and native platforms.
• Strong desire to solve challenging problems
• Experience with building a team of UI/UX designers and leading them through complex projects.
• Knowledge of agile software development and experience with developing and executing AB and multivariate design tests.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner well across, up and down the organization.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to clearly express opinions, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of their peers
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
