WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design managers at Braze cultivate teams, careers, and culture. They are responsible for empowering designers to understand the impact they have in their current roles, and illuminate the impact designers can potentially have on the business as their careers grow. To help with these goals, Design Managers help to forge a continuous dialogue between the designers and the colleagues across disciplines they must work with to succeed. In addition to promoting professional development opportunities for designers, design managers also leverage their experiences of design craft and user research to identify ways to improve how all teams and departments work together.
It is also important to note that as the leader of a growing design team, recruiting exceptional talent will also be a major part of this role, as your team will likely double in size in a year’s time.
