Product Manager
Working closely with the Creative Director, and armed with a newly minted full stack agile development team, you will be an integral part of the product and UX function responsible for delivering Jackpocket’s top priority product initiatives. This is a product and UX hybrid role, with the ideal candidate having deep knowledge of agile product development and user experience best practices. As the product and UX lead for your team, your primary responsibility will be to furnish engineering with carefully planned sprints. Each sprint will consist of top priority product initiatives that you will break down into JIRA tickets accompanied with UX flows as needed. You will ensure that the team has a groomed product backlog, and maintains focus each sprint on the company’s top priority product initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to create product specs, JIRA stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes in order to effectively communicate business requirements to software engineering
- Plan and lead the sprint planning meetings, daily standups, and sprint reviews
- Ensure all JIRA tickets are estimated, and velocity for each sprint is tracked
- Use data and other insights to identify new product feature opportunities
- Monitor the performance of features released by your team
- Foster alignment among stakeholders as needed
- Ensure the product roadmap and strategy are being executed by the development team in accordance with company goals and OKRs
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive team
Required
- Proven experience driving cross functional projects from idea inception to software development completion as a PO or PM in an agile product development organization
- Proven experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog
- Proven track record for successfully planning and completing multiple product sprints
- Experienced in creating wireframes/UX flows, product specs, and JIRA tickets
- Experience working on a consumer mobile app
