Jasper Health is a startup company with the mission to improve the lives of all patients with serious conditions through the most meaningful support. Our first products focus on patients, caregivers and their supporters going through cancer treatment and recovery through personalized organizational tools and access to curated products and services

Jasper is part of Redesign Health, a venture studio based in New York city, that has led Jasper’s seed funding round.

You will be joining a 10 person team, and working on our core product that launched in beta in October 2020 and has seen tremendous patient adoption and satisfaction.

As our Senior Product Designer, you will apply your passion for product design to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of all cancer patients and their loved ones through the most meaningful support. You’ll use product design best practices to make meaningful, measurable improvements to those living with cancer.

You will report to, and work with the Head of Product. This is a 100% remote role. 

What you'll do:

• Build world class solutions to help cancer patients navigate their care journeys, and own major product features.
• Lead the design of new experiences and product features, from concept to pixel-perfect execution.
• Deeply understand our customers to best advocate and design for their needs.
• Collaborate with partners to lead user research initiatives, including the design of research tools and synthesizing  results to represent user needs and desires.
• Design wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes to convey product experiences to users, stakeholders, and team members
• Drive and evolve the Jasper brand identity 
• Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project
• Prepare high-quality assets to hand off for production (both digital and physical) 

What you'll need:

• Background
• 4+ years of product design experience, ideally with an early stage product
• Proven experience designing across web and mobile applications
• Experience collaborating closely with other disciplines, such as engineering, marketing, and operations.
• Consumer product experience is a huge plus

• Skills
• A strong visual sense, attention to detail, and love for the craft of design
• Proficiency with design, collaboration, and prototyping tools (such as Figma and Github) and knowledge of HTML and CSS. 
• Experience with UI and design system frameworks (such as Material-UI)
• Knowledge of Javascript and React are a huge plus.
