Collibra seeks a skilled and passionate interaction designer to join their user experience research and design team. Our customers are some of the most data-intensive companies on the planet. Reporting to the Director of UX, you will dive deep with teammates, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations. As you deliver user-empowering enterprise data management and intelligence solutions, together we’ll set the tone and pace for creating satisfying experiences that have measurable positive impacts on our business.

Senior Interaction Designers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Composing and growing new product concepts alongside multidisciplinary team members in order to create beneficial, robust, accessible, and high-performing interactions
  • Crafting critical elements and detailed behaviors of our product design system so we can achieve better quality and scale
  • Communicating task-flow and detailed interaction behaviors through clear documentation and confident presentation so stakeholders grasp and endorse design direction
  • Planning strategy and tactics for UX project delivery to have a high impact-to-effort ratio
  • Promoting and using best design practices and qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies to produce consistent and effective experiences 

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field
  • Multiple projects of full-lifecycle goal-centered design work for complex domains for web, desktop, and mobile 
  • The ability to collect and synthesize feedback and input from users, business managers, Collibra leadership, product management, and engineering teams and then present design direction based on it
  • Fluency in U.S. or British English
  • The ability to express a clear design philosophy with strategies for implementation

Measuring Success:

  • Month 1: Complete onboarding and deep dive into products
  • Month 2: Understand major design system and interaction design priorities; participate in all design team activities
  • Month 3: Design, document, and get buy-in for 3 - 10 design system primitives and components
