UX Designer - Design Systems

At Lifion by ADP, we are building a world class design system that is used everyday by UX designers, developers, and product owners to make great apps for people at work. Join our dedicated design system team and help empower others with your work everyday. The right candidate loves creating structure where there isn’t any, building powerful tools, and working with engineers to ship quality front-end solutions every sprint.
Responsibilities:
o Design complex layout, interaction, and visual systems using a good understanding of design and web technologies.
o Use the latest web technologies to build prototypes for reusable user interface components.
o Work with product designers across the company to define best practices and write design guidelines. Be an ambassador for our design system.
o Work closely with multiple engineering teams and guide them in crafting functional, scalable, and user-friendly interactions.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest user experience and front-end development trends.
Qualifications:
o Experience working on or with a design system. You understand the complexities of making components flexible and reusable. You are always thinking about how you can systemize your design.
o You enjoy collaborating and working with a large team of designers. You are a people person!
o You’ve shipped product: you know the challenges (and rewards!) of release cycles and how to partner across the organization at every stage, shipping quickly and at the highest level of quality
o Demonstrated ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously
o Ability to work hand-in-hand with product team members on requirements and design
o Experience prototyping (experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, or Git a plus!)
o At least 2-3 years of industry experience (preferably in an agile environment)
o A solid design portfolio with well thought out interactions and visuals across web applications
