Location: Manhattan (25th & Broadway) - Hybrid required Tues-Thurs in office
Experience Level: Mid-level (3-5 years)
Salary: $70,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience
About the Role
We're looking for a versatile designer who can move between luxury brand work and playful executions without missing a beat. You'll work on everything from TV campaigns and social content to experiential activations and motion design concepts—often in the same week. If you thrive on variety and want to build skills across multiple disciplines, this is it.
You'll report directly to our Creative Director and work alongside a full team of creative specialists. The breadth of our projects means constant opportunities to learn, grow, and work on things you haven't tackled before.
What You’ll Do
- Design across channels and formats: TV, video, social, digital, print, and experiential
- Shift your visual approach to match different brands—from high-end luxury to big, energetic, crowd-pleasers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop concepts and bring them to life
- Illustrate experiential ideas and storyboards to clearly communicate the vision
- Stay current with design trends and emerging tools (including AI in the creative process)
- Juggle multiple projects without dropping the quality bar or the deadline
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of design experience with a portfolio that shows range and taste
- Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and color
- Ability to work across both luxury/premium brands and more playful, expressive brands
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Familiarity with current AI tools and how they can support your workflow
- Illustration skills for concepting experiential ideas and storyboards
- Understanding of motion design principles (you don’t have to animate, but you know how to think in motion)
- Curiosity about new tools and ways of working
- Your vocal, can manage up, have strong collaboration and communication skills, and an ability to “read the room”
- You’re cool working on more than one thing at a time
- You’re willing to share ideas before they’re “perfect” and build on feedback
- A life and a personality outside of work that you can tap into for interesting creative ideas
Why wellcom
This is not a “reskin the same banner for six months” kind of role. Our clients span industries, our work spans channels, and our team spans disciplines. You’ll have access to CG artists, animators, developers, strategists, and other specialists who can help you push ideas further and make things that most agencies can’t pull off (at least not without a ton of friction).
We're a creative agency built for speed and scale, but we never compromise on quality. We use technology and automation where it actually helps, and we care about creative that works in the real world—not just in a case study deck.
The culture piece is legit and when we say zero egos we mean it. This is a supportive, mentorship-driven environment where leadership is invested in your growth and even when we disagree it’s always with kindness. Your work gets recognized. Your teammates are talented, down-to-earth people you’ll actually want to grab lunch with. We hire for craft and personality, and the result is a team of friendly, interesting people who want each other to win.
If you’re looking for a place where you can do great work, keep learning, and be supportive back—let’s talk.
