SHADOW is currently seeking to fill a Designer position within its Creative Division. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience, preferably working with consumer brands or in an agency environment. This individual will report directly to the Art Director and Executive Creative Director, and drive the execution of various visual assets and design elements for a range of projects, both external and internal. This position requires the submission of a portfolio.
What You Bring:
- Creativity and Technical Fluency: Your portfolio demonstrates a high-caliber understanding of visual design across a number of mediums including print, graphics, UI, e-mail, spatial, packaging, merch and more. You can simultaneously push to think outside the box, while working within brand parameters. You have mastery over Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (Bonus if you have experience working with video.), as well as Keynote and Powerpoint/Google Slides. Proficiency in Figma and SketchUp a bonus.
- Professionalism and project management: You have a buttoned up approach to project management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, both when collaborating as a team and managing independently. You have an exquisite attention to detail.
- Communication and Problem Solving: You are an excellent writer and communicator, with the ability to self motivate, pivot as needed, and voice frictions and roadblocks as they arise. You possess a solution oriented attitude.
What You Do:
- Develop Design Concepts: You work closely with the Creative team on behalf of agency clients to drive the development of visual assets and design elements for a variety of internal and external projects, including strategies, events, social media, digital content, e-mail, identity development and more. This includes the compilation, design and layout of company decks, presentations, client strategies, branded collateral, digital mockups, merch and other miscellaneous materials
- Collaborate: You’ll work seamlessly with art directors, producers and creative director, as well as oversee a junior designer, to take inspiration and swipe to ideate, draft, sketch and execute visual elements end-to-end for myriad projects across the agency’s PR, Event, Influencer and Social operations. This includes social media content, event branding, web experiences, logo development, and photo shoots.
- Vendor management: For projects that require outside production support you may liaise with third party vendors such as production houses or fabricators to ensure that final deliverables achieve a high production value.
Annual Compensation
$60K - $75K (commensurate with experience)
