About Sent

Sent is an infrastructure for sending A2P messages across SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS through a single unified API. Our intelligent routing model automates channel selection based on deliverability and cost, ensuring lower cost and global reach without any channel-specific integrations.

We recently closed a $5.1M Seed round backed by Companyon Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, UIF, and CEAS Investments. We're hiring to build the best infrastructure to replace multi-channel messaging stacks.

About the Role

We're hiring a Developer Content Marketer to own the surface area between Sent's platform and the developers who build on it. You'll write production-quality sample apps, build and maintain SDKs, author technical content, and ship tools that make integration effortless. You'll also represent Sent in the developer community - writing tutorials, producing walkthroughs, and showing up at meetups and conferences to teach, not pitch.

Sent is a developer-first company powering modern communication across SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and more. Developers evaluate us by how fast they can go from zero to first message sent. Your job is to make that path shorter, clearer, and better documented than anything else on the market. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and growth to close the loop between what developers need and what we ship.

In this role, you will…

  • Build and maintain client SDKs, starter kits, and example integrations across multiple languages.

  • Own developer documentation end-to-end — from quickstart guides to advanced reference material.

  • Create technical content (blog posts, video walkthroughs, tutorials) that helps developers ship faster.

  • Identify friction in the onboarding and integration experience and work with engineering to fix it.

  • Engage the developer community through events, forums, and direct conversations.

  • Feed insights from the developer community back into product and engineering roadmaps.

  • Partner with growth and marketing on launches, announcements, and developer-facing campaigns.

You'll be a great fit if you…

  • Have 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals.

  • Have built developer-facing tools, SDKs, or API integrations.

  • Write clearly — you can explain complex systems simply and produce documentation people actually read.

  • Are comfortable working across multiple programming languages (Python, Node.js, Go, or similar).

  • Have a genuine interest in helping other developers succeed and a low tolerance for bad developer experiences.

  • Are self-directed and comfortable being the person who defines what "great" looks like for developer experience.

Nice to have

  • Open-source contributions or a public portfolio of developer-facing work.

  • Prior developer relations, developer advocacy, or technical writing experience.

  • Comfort on camera or on stage — you've given talks, run workshops, or produced technical video content.

Our Commitment to You

  • Meaningful equity with high growth potential

  • Top-tier medical, dental, vision fully covered

  • 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Beautiful NYC workspace with daily meals and unlimited snacks

  • New MacBook Pro + Apple Studio Display

  • Fully comped Wellhub Gold or Equinox membership

Sent, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
