Job Title : DevOps Engineer    

Location : New York, NY / Atlanta, GA   

Job Type : Permanent Full Time

Job Description:

• Extensive background in Unix/Linux systems administration, scripting or large scale software development.

• Strong knowledge of Nginx/Apache web server and Tomcat container configuration

• Deep knowledge of automated deployment tools such as Chef or Puppet

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery

• work closely with development teams (DevOps)

• strong scripting experience (BASH/Perl/Ruby)

• Knowledge of large-scale web delivery platforms

• Experience with AWS EC2/S3 service provisioning

• Experience with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, CouchDB)

• Knowledge of Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch

• Curiosity for understanding and learning complex systems

• Ability to diagnose and resolve product, software and performance issues independently

• Complete understanding of toolsets necessary to debug, identify and resolve site issues

• Ability to see opportunities for improvement, take ownership and closely work with development team to drive product improvement

• self-motivated and requires minimal supervision

• Act as mentor to junior members of the team
