Title:    Digital Account Manager

Reports to: Executive Director, Michael Lavoie

Salary Range: $60k - $75k

Location: 1325 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY

Position Summary:

The Digital Account Manager is responsible for successful campaign management, delivering best in class campaigns across Nexstar’s portfolio and platforms. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Own day-to-day management of certain digital accounts (accounts are assigned by salespeople and/or sales products).
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for advertiser/agency relationships for digital accounts.
  • Work alongside a Digital Account Coordinator, assisting with their task prioritization and approving their adjustments in order management systems.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Ad Operations, and Strategic Planning.
  • Build digital campaign proposals and complete RFPs/RFIs on behalf of Sales.
  • Report on campaign performance, providing external and internal campaign updates, useful reporting and insights, screen grabs, etc.
  • Collect digital assets for direct campaigns and coordinate with clients on programmatic campaigns prior to launch.
  • Ensure that digital campaigns are launched as scheduled.
  • Oversee weekly contract maintenance including actualization, Nielsen DAR factor adjustment, flighting, program assignments, frontloading, etc.
  • Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and suggest optimizations.
  • Address billing discrepancies, liaising between Finance and the client.
  • Complete ad hoc reporting and projects.

The Essentials

  • Experience in video advertising with a premium in the Broadcast / Cable TV business, preferably in a digital capacity
  • Reporting intelligence with ad servers (Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc.) and data measurement platforms
  • Proactive, analytical, and deadline driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing, and at times ambiguous environment
  • Over two years of experience in account management and/or client services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
