Digital Analytics Specialist
The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.

Job Summary:
Salas O’Brien is seeking an experienced digital marketing specialist to build and maintain dashboards that tell the story of our marketing performance—turning complex data into strategic insights that inform decision-making at the highest levels. This role will be instrumental in measuring the impact of our digital efforts across platforms (LinkedIn, email, website, campaigns, and more) and identifying ways to improve engagement and conversion.
The right candidate is equally comfortable in data platforms and campaign meetings, has strong business and marketing intelligence, and can proactively connect dots across channels, campaigns, and systems to help Salas O’Brien - grow all while guiding, mentoring, and developing a team to deliver exceptional results.
You’ll report to our Marketing Manager, CRM & Knowledge and collaborate with digital and communications leaders across the marketing team. You’ll also be a trusted resource to firmwide leadership.
General Duties:
- Lead development of marketing performance dashboards using Power BI to measure and visualize impact.
- Analyze and connect data from multiple sources, including Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Dealfront, Deltek Vantagepoint CRM, email marketing platforms, and our marketing tech stack.
- Support and flank key marketing campaigns by advising on tracking strategy, tagging, segmentation, and attribution.
- Identify what we should be tracking—not just how to track it—based on business goals and funnel strategy.
- Recommend and implement solutions for more accurate campaign tracking (e.g., UTM strategy, button tracking, conversion tagging).
- Help build a sustainable analytics ecosystem that supports strategic decisions and demonstrates ROI to leadership
Skills
- Google Analytics certification.
- Experience with campaign tagging strategy and setup (UTM structure, goal tracking).
- Proven ability to build advanced marketing dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI or a comparable data visualization platform.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and experience implementing custom tracking, tags, and events.
- Strong understanding of attribution modeling and campaign performance tracking across digital channels.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred) and how to extract, organize, and connect data from marketing and sales systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in a digital marketing analytics role, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.
- Google Analytics certification.
- Background in supporting the full marketing funnel, especially mid-funnel metrics and lead conversion strategies.
Location: Remote (US)
Travel: 10% (Once a year marketing strategy meeting)
