About this role

Become part of the team at BlackRock that helps drive firmwide digital asset strategy, including working with internal business units to develop and execute on strategic initiatives around digital assets as well as supporting BlackRock’s portfolio managers on blockchain and crypto asset related investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee and lead BlackRock’s digital asset activities globally, working with business and technology partners across the firm to analyze, design, and drive implementation of digital asset-based initiatives

  • Work with external providers and drive accountability for project execution

  • Develop expertise across BlackRock’s operating platform and the capital markets ecosystem to understand and identify opportunities for technological innovation and new product development

  • Identify commercial opportunities for innovation and articulate economic and strategic rationale

  • Conduct industry research, monitoring, and analysis on crypto and digital assets

  • Develop and maintain insightful content in written and visual forms capable of analyzing issues, articulating strategy, and educating audiences

  • Present educational and strategic content for clients and internal stakeholders

  • Engage with and evaluate technology providers throughout the digital assets ecosystem

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience

  • Ability to evaluate, design, and articulate technology-driven solutions to complex business problems

  • Action-oriented problem solver capable of working cross-functionally to drive execution

  • Strong team player capable of working with a diverse array of working styles and approaches

  • Professional experience or strong demonstrated interest in blockchain technology and digital assets

  • High level of intellectual curiosity

  • Organizational and time-management skills, strong initiative, and attention to detail

  • Outstanding academic and career achievement, with demonstrated leadership

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$137,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
