Digital Marketing Manager

Paid Media & Organic Social Focus

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado

Reports To: Director of Digital Marketing

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will execute paid media and organic social strategies that directly contribute to new car growth — acquiring new customers and driving vehicles into bay. This is a performance-driven role operating within a performance-driven culture where results are measured, owned, and acted upon.

Working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing, this role supports the execution of campaigns through agency partners and internal teams, while maintaining hands-on accountability for day-to-day performance outcomes. It requires a deep working knowledge of platform mechanics across paid and organic channels to effectively support strategy, manage budgets, and keep execution partners performing to a high standard.

This role is well-suited for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a results-oriented environment, can manage multiple digital initiatives simultaneously, and is energized by working alongside senior leadership to move performance in the right direction.

Key ResponsibilitiesPaid Media Strategy & Oversight
  • Oversee paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and emerging channels including CTV
  • Guide campaign direction, budget allocation, and optimization strategy to improve KPIs including CPC, CPA, CTR, and offline conversion metrics
  • Support the execution of campaigns through agency partners and internal teams, ensuring all efforts are aligned with business goals and new car growth objectives
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms — including campaign structure, optimization levers, and attribution — to effectively manage performance and budgets
Organic Social Strategy & Community Management Oversight
  • Develop and oversee organic social strategy, including content calendars aligned to marketing priorities
  • Lead ideation and development of content concepts, including testing emerging formats, trends, and platforms
  • Identify and execute on opportunities with Reddit and influencer partnerships to expand brand reach and credibility
  • Provide direction to internal teams or agencies executing content and publishing; may require direct publishing in some instances
  • Establish best practices for community management, including response guidelines and brand voice
  • Monitor performance and guide optimizations based on insights and platform trends
  • Manage strategy, development and execution for new social channels such as TikTok, Reddit, and others
Competitive Intelligence
  • Regularly monitor and analyze competitor paid media activity — including channels, spend signals, offers, and creative strategy
  • Track competitive offers in market (promotions, pricing, seasonal pushes) to inform offer strategy and creative positioning
  • Synthesize competitive insights into actionable recommendations for the Director of Digital Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain a working knowledge of where key competitors are investing and how that shifts over time
Agency Management (Paid & Organic)
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external agency partners across paid media and organic social, working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing on overall strategy and direction
  • Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with Director-led priorities
  • Hold agency partners accountable to performance goals and escalate material issues or strategic decisions to the Director
  • Ensure agency efforts remain aligned with internal marketing objectives and business goals
Performance Analytics & KPI Ownership
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance across paid and organic channels
  • Own and understand key marketing KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS, engagement rate, conversion rate)
  • Translate data into actionable insights, optimization strategies, and clearly structured test-and-learn hypotheses — whether testing channels, creative approaches, audience segments, or offers
  • Design and evaluate ongoing experiments to build institutional knowledge about what drives performance
AI-Powered Workflows
  • Demonstrate active, consistent use of AI tools to increase efficiency, accelerate analysis, and improve output quality across paid media, social, and reporting functions
  • Apply AI to automate or streamline repetitive workflows including reporting, creative briefing, competitive monitoring, and performance summarization
  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities relevant to digital marketing and proactively surface opportunities to apply them
  • Proficiency with AI tools is required, not optional — candidates will be expected to speak to specific use cases during the interview process
Digital Project Management
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives from concept through execution via internal teams and agency partners
  • Act as the primary point of coordination to ensure timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment are met
  • Proactively identify opportunities, gaps, and risks across digital programs
Content & Creative Collaboration
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to develop high-performing ad creative and social content
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice while driving measurable performance outcomes
  • Continuously test and iterate creative based on performance data
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Franchise Support
  • Work closely with brand, franchise, analytics, operations, and leadership teams to align strategies
  • Partner with franchisees and internal stakeholders to help bridge knowledge gaps in paid media and digital marketing
  • Communicate strategies, performance insights, and best practices in a clear and approachable way
  • Provide guidance and education to non-digital stakeholders to support adoption and alignment
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute campaigns effectively
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on paid media and organic social
  • Proven success overseeing paid campaigns and social strategies with measurable results
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including campaign structure and optimization
  • Experience managing agencies across paid and/or organic channels
  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and performance measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize work, and drive projects forward independently
  • Experience managing budgets and allocating spend across channels
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and output
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)
