Why does this role exist?
This role exists to own day-to-day digital marketing execution so the owner/manager can stop re-doing sloppy work and focus on business operations. The specialist will produce on-brand marketing creative, deliver accurate email campaigns, post consistently to social platforms, and help develop simple funnels that convert visitors into bookings and memberships. We’re hiring someone experienced and accountable who requires minimal micromanagement.

The Impact you’ll make
Email marketing
  • Build, QA and send Mailchimp campaigns and automations (promotions, newsletters, reminders).
  • Maintain subscriber lists, segments, and basic audience hygiene.
  • Track performance and suggest improvements (subject lines, send times, CTAs).

Graphic design & brand assets (Canva)
  • Create on-brand marketing graphics (ads, social images, email headers, flyers) using established colors, fonts and layouts.
  • Produce resize variants for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Ensure all assets are proofed for spelling, size, and logical consistency before publishing.

Social media management & posting
  • Schedule and publish posts to Facebook and Instagram following content calendar.
  • Monitor basic engagement and surface comments/messages that need client attention.
  • Repurpose email and campaign assets into social content.

Funnel marketing & campaign support
  • Assist with simple funnel creation (lead capture, nurture sequences, booking funnels) to grow appointments and memberships.
  • Coordinate landing page copy/assets and email follow-ups to drive conversions.
  • Track funnel performance and propose optimizations.

Quality control, ownership & reporting
  • Own end-to-end task quality — fix mistakes proactively and apply learnings to prevent repeats.
  • Provide weekly updates and simple performance reports.
  • Participate in an initial training onboarding and weekly check-ins; execute with minimal hand-holding thereafter.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
  • Proven intermediate-level Canva design experience producing marketing assets.
  • Practical email marketing experience (campaign creation, segmentation, QA; Mailchimp experience is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with funnel marketing or campaign funnels.
  • Ability to work US CST business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CST) reliably.
  • Demonstrated history of working independently with strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
  • WFH Set-Up:
    • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
    • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
    • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
    • Back-up computer and internet connection
    • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
