Challenge the Status Quo.
Come work with Goodbye Vanilla.

We’re a social-first marketing agency built for how attention actually works today. Not decks. Not buzzwords. Not bloated process. Real social, built to perform in-market.

We partner with brands that expect more than “pretty” content or safe media plans. Our work lives in feeds, moves fast, and is judged by results. If it doesn’t earn attention or drive impact, it doesn’t ship.

We were early to platforms others are still figuring out—and we’re not slowing down. Creators, performance media, and social-native thinking aren’t side projects here. They’re the core.

Now we’re looking for people who want real ownership, real responsibility, and the chance to build something modern—alongside a team that cares deeply about the work and the outcome.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Media Specialist is a hands-on execution role responsible for building, managing, and optimizing paid social campaigns — with additional exposure and support across Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Display).

This role is paid-social-first. Social is the primary growth engine. Search and YouTube support and amplify that engine.

You’ll work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Account folks to translate ideas into performance, manage campaigns in real time, and continuously improve results through testing and iteration.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Paid Social Execution

  • Own day-to-day execution and optimization of paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and emerging platforms

  • Build and manage campaign structure, budgets, pacing, testing, and optimization

  • Monitor performance daily and make real-time adjustments

  • Analyze results and surface insights that improve performance

  • Translate performance into clear internal and client-facing reporting

Creator, Influencer & Social-Native Media

  • Support paid campaigns involving creators, influencers, and affiliates

  • Execute whitelisting and creator-led paid social strategies on Meta and TikTok

  • Partner with Creative to ensure assets are optimized for paid distribution

  • Provide feedback on hooks, formats, and messaging based on performance

Digital & Search Media Support

  • Support execution and optimization of Google Ads across Search, YouTube, and Display

  • Monitor pacing, performance, and conversion quality in partnership with internal leads or external partners

  • Assist with keyword research, audience strategy, creative alignment, and landing page feedback

  • Help connect insights across paid social and search

Innovation & Platform Fluency

  • Test new formats, betas, and platform-first features

  • Stay sharp on platform changes and best practices

  • Contribute to GV’s POV on what’s working — and what’s next — in paid social

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
  • Not a creative director role

  • Not a Google-only or search-first role

  • Not a passive or set-it-and-forget-it buying role

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Campaigns that are consistently well-structured, well-paced, and improving

  • Performance gains driven by smart testing and iteration

  • Strong collaboration with Creative to improve asset quality

  • Confidence managing complex accounts with minimal oversight

  • Growing ability to connect insights across platforms

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 3–5 years experience in paid social or digital media execution

  • Proven experience managing performance-driven paid social campaigns

  • Strong grasp of social KPIs and optimization levers

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Display)

  • Detail-oriented and operationally sharp

  • Clear communicator who can explain decisions and results

  • Agency experience or complex-account exposure is a plus

GROWTH & OPPORTUNITY

Opportunity to expand channel ownership, strategic input, and responsibility over time. Growth is driven by impact, not tenure.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience

  • Performance-based bonus opportunity

  • Health benefits, PTO, flexible work environment
