The Director of Account Management will coordinate communication between clients and MedReview, monitor service performance, resolve routine and moderately complex issues, support business reviews, and identify opportunities to expand the relationship. Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and coordinate communication across MedReview.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, escalating highly complex or enterprise-level matters to Senior Account Management leadership as appropriate.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and develop a strong understanding of each client’s business priorities, operating model, and expectations.
- Maintain regular client contact and ensure questions, issues, and requests are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Develop and maintain account plans, stakeholder maps, meeting records, and action-item tracking.
- Escalate relationship, service, or financial risks appropriately and support resolution.
- Monitor service level agreement performance, deliverables, open issues, and client commitments.
- Partner with Operations and other internal teams to troubleshoot issues and coordinate corrective action.
- Monitor claims aging, recovery execution, and related client actions that may affect outcomes or payment.
- Ensure clear ownership, deadlines, and follow-up for client and internal action items.
- Communicate status and resolution plans to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and lead recurring client meetings and business reviews with support from Account Management leadership and subject matter experts.
- Develop clear reporting on performance, savings, operational results, open items, and strategic priorities.
- Translate operational information into concise, client-focused updates.
- Document decisions, commitments, risks, and next steps following client meetings.
- Provide accurate updates for internal portfolio and client health reviews.
- Identify client needs and potential cross-sell, upsell, and new-solution opportunities.
- Partner with Account Management leadership, Business Development, Product, and Operations to evaluate and advance opportunities.
- Support renewal, pricing, contracting, and scope discussions as assigned.
- Demonstrate MedReview’s value through data, outcomes, and consultative recommendations.
- Monitor competitive activity and changes in the client environment that could affect the relationship.
- Bring client feedback and market insight to Product, Operations, and leadership teams.
- Support new-client and new-solution implementations, transitions, and handoffs.
- Coordinate internal resources to provide a consistent client experience.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process, communication, or solution improvements.
- Maintain accurate client information, opportunity activity, and relationship notes in the designated CRM and account management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of Account Management, client success, healthcare operations, payment integrity, managed care, revenue cycle, healthcare technology, or related experience.
- Experience managing complex client relationships and coordinating across multiple internal teams.
- Working knowledge of healthcare claims, payment integrity, payer operations, reimbursement, or related healthcare services.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to interpret operational and financial information and present it clearly to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client commitments with limited supervision.
- Professional judgment and the ability to handle sensitive or escalated client matters appropriately.
- Proficiency with CRM, presentation, spreadsheet, and client reporting tools.
- Experience working with health plans, third-party administrators, or payment integrity organizations.
- Experience supporting technology-enabled healthcare services or SaaS solutions.
- Build trusted relationships and a strong understanding of assigned clients.
- Establish consistent account plans, meeting cadences, and action-item tracking.
- Improve visibility into service performance, client risks, and open issues.
