About the Role

As the Director of Marketplace and Partnerships within the Addressable Media Partnerships team, you oversee how dentsu builds, maintains, and scales strategic partnerships across the addressable ecosystem. Reporting to the SVP, Strategic Partnership Solutions, you will act as a subject-matter expert on our addressable solutions, including dentsu.Connect, and you help ensure that integrations and operational workflows progress efficiently.

You support partnership agreements across channels and technologies such as Video, Display, DSPs, SSPs, and other enabling platforms. You work with cross-functional teams across product, technology, investment, strategy, activation, and legal to advance partnership work with accuracy and clarity.

What You Will DoPartnership Integration and Operations
  • Lead the dentsu.Audience Connection partner integration process.
  • Improve speed to market for new or updated integrations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the dentsu.Connect product suite.
  • Serve as a primary contact for addressable media partners and manage integration progress.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Technology, Investment, Product, Activation, Legal, and Planning teams.
  • Share updates, documentation, and requirements with internal teams.
  • Maintain organized shared spaces for partnership information.
Deal Progression and Documentation
  • Track details related to partnership agreements and operational workflows.
  • Partner with Legal and Technology teams on contract reviews and implementation steps.
  • Support Product teams in partnership development and maintenance activities.
Team Leadership
  • Provide direction to team members who support partner integrations and related tasks.
  • Define priorities, manage workload distribution, and support day-to-day execution.
Process and Operational Improvement
  • Identify workflow or process gaps that slow down integrations or communication.
  • Recommend improvements to documentation, workflows, or reporting methods.
  • Contribute to developing standardized practices for partnership management.
What You BringExperience
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital media, advertising technology, programmatic partnerships, media investment, or a related discipline.
  • Experience overseeing or managing team members.
Technical and Functional Skills
  • Proficiency working with addressable media technologies such as DSPs, SSPs, onboarding solutions, and identity-based platforms.
  • Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Ability to review or provide input into technical or SaaS-related contract components.
  • Ability to manage documentation, partnership details, and operational steps with accuracy.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
Working Style
  • Comfortable working with multiple internal stakeholders and partner organizations.
  • Able to manage several concurrent workstreams with clear prioritization.
  • Detail-focused and able to maintain organized tracking across complex operational steps.

In this role, you influence how dentsu approaches addressable media partnerships and evolving marketplace opportunities. You work with cross-functional teams across the organization and contribute to the delivery and growth of strategic partnership solutions that support client needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $150,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
