 Director of AI Engineering– Geneva Trading- Chicago

What You’ll Do

  • In this role, you will build intelligent features and autonomous workflows that enhance user experiences.
  • You will work with large language models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and orchestration tools to develop next-generation interfaces and intelligent assistants that support workflows.
  • Build robust orchestration and automation workflows integrating multi-agent capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for training, benchmarking, validating, and deploying LLMs and autonomous agents into production environments.
  • Build and optimize intelligent tools and automation systems that improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Ensure software quality through clean, maintainable, and optimized code, including support for efficient inference.
  • Provide technical leadership on best practices for AI integration, process design, documentation, lifecycle management, and security.
  • Drive adoption of AI solutions through collaboration, training, and thought leadership across teams.
  • Big data analytics with Agentic AI systems to create actionable insights from verified sources.
  • Present insights and outcomes to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI, automation, or advanced technology roles.
  • Experience developing agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool integration, and autonomous decision-making workflows.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with MCP and prompt engineering.
  • Understanding AI solutions for deployment and monitoring in enterprise environments is important.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $250,000 – $350,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, Geneva Trading offers a competitive total rewards package, including a comprehensive benefits program.
