About the role:

Nanit is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Amazon to lead and accelerate revenue growth across Amazon US. In this high impact role, you will own the Amazon channel and shape its business strategy through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You'll be a master of navigating the complexities of the retail landscape, analyzing industry trends and customer behavior to create and adapt a dynamic plan that aligns with Nanit's vision while minimizing channel conflict.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Amazon business strategy to drive aggressive revenue growth, spearheading initiatives that accelerate performance and capture market share
  • Own the Amazon vendor relationship and lead account negotiations, working with external agencies and internal stakeholders to drive account profitability, pricing, and promotional effectiveness 
  • Continuously analyze Amazon performance data and market trends to make informed decisions, ensuring efficient investment in high-impact growth activities in partnership with our Growth Marketing Team
  • Develop, execute, and communicate short- and long-term financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns) that drive revenue and profitability growth in support of Nanit's strategic objectives on Amazon and other pure play platforms.
  • Accurately forecast sales and manage inventory to ensure alignment with demand, collaborating closely with Demand Planning, Operations/Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams to align on key initiatives, product launches, and promotional strategies specific to Amazon

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 8+ years of experience with Amazon, with a proven track record of success in driving online sales growth; prior startup experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L for Amazon
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing a 1P Amazon business and driving sales on the platform
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including quantitative analysis of business performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to develop deep, trusted relationships with external partners (including agencies and retail buyers) and internal cross-functional colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive, scrappy, results-oriented individual motivated by achieving and exceeding revenue goals
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau

EEO, Salary and Location: 

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC office 3 days per week. We will also consider highly qualified remote US candidates.

Salary Range: $190K - $220K targeted OTE. The compensation for this role includes an On-Target Earnings (OTE) structure, which is a total combination of base salary and performance based incentives, as well as equity and benefits. This is just one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
